Our Founder’s picks for soul-shifting weekends worth planning around.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned running Bright Souls, it’s that real transformation doesn’t happen in echo chambers – it happens when we step out of the everyday, connect with people who feel like possibility, and let ourselves be fully immersed. That’s why I love a great wellness festival. Not the over-filtered kind; the ones that are curated with intention, depth, and a bit of magic.
Here are the festivals I’d book this year if you haven’t already.
1. The Wellness Way Festival
Location: East Sussex
Dates: Summer 2025 (exact date TBC)
Why go: Founded by Philly Jay, this one’s on our radar for all the right reasons – thoughtful curation, emotional fluency, and a vibe that’s grounded and nature curious. Expect sound, somatics, breathwork, food, and soul. Not just a festival, a reset.
Bright Souls note: Looking for your wellness community in trying times? Then you might find it here…
2. Medicine Festival
Location: Berkshire
Dates: 15–19 August 2025
Why go: Equal parts sacred and communal. Deeply rooted in indigenous wisdom, music, and ritual, this is one for those seeking depth, not fluff. You’ll come back with new questions, not just new photos.
Bright Souls note: A rare blend of activism and healing.
Tickets: medicinefestival.com
3. Re:Union at 42 Acres
Location: Somerset
Dates: Autumn Equinox Weekend (20–22 September 2025)
Why go: This is the intimate, regenerative kind of gathering we love – equal parts earth-honouring and nervous-system soothing. Created by the team at 42 Acres, who we rate highly for conscious curation.
Bright Souls note: The kind of festival that feels like coming home.
Tickets: 42acres.com
Wellness festivals aren’t about perfection; they’re about presence. Whether you’re craving deep rest, full-body release, or new inspiration for the season ahead, these spaces offer something social media can’t. Just make sure you book early, pack your nervous system tools, and go in with an open heart.
If you’re going to one we’ve missed, we’d love to know! Drop us a message @wehavebrightsouls or tag us in your wild, wonderful weekends.
